Our Company Story
Recently rebranded from Bobbi’s World Kennels to Peace of Mind Pet Resort, we are a well-established family-owned and operated boarding and pet shipping company with over 40 years of experience providing outstanding transportation service to our pet traveling owners, domestically and internationally.
Mission
Our mission at Peace of Mind Pet Resort is to provide an outstanding safe boarding and day care service, as well as a suitable place where the pet owners will feel comfortable leaving their pet while they travel or while they are at work. In addition, it is our vision to be acknowledged as a solid and reliable pet shipping and relocation company as well as a suitable place where you can leave your pet on a daily basis.
Meet the Owners
Anthony Russo
Anthony Russo has over 20 years’ experience involving pet care, animal welfare and pet technician certifications. Volunteering hundreds of hours with various veterinary clinics. Anthony fully committed to running the family business after graduating High School. Anthony has attended multiple IPATA conferences and workshops worldwide, fully grasping and implementing ethical standards of the pet care/handling industry. Anthony is ABKA Kennel Technician certified and has received the IATA/Live Animal Regulations certification. Anthony compassionately cares for every pet’s health and wellbeing thoroughly.
Justin Crites
Justin Crites completed 8 years of service and 3 tours with the United States Navy. After separating and returning home to Fort Lauderdale, Justin pursued a Marine Engineering Management Degree at Broward College. Although he enjoyed Naval Architecture, Justin found a passion for the Sales and Customer Service Industry which led him to become the General Manager of one of the largest industrial wholesale supply companies servicing businesses across South Florida. As a pet owner and animal lover himself, Justin joined his childhood friend Anthony at Peace of Mind in 2019, finding a new passion where he can share knowledge and implement new strategies to offer the high quality of service that our pet owners deserve.
